The room was very comfortable, it wasn't ensuite, and the bathroom facilities were very good. Our evening meal in the restaurant was so tasty (we selected an Austrian dish). Plus homemade Strudel! Breakfast again excellent. Hospitality from the owners was great also.

It was a very pleasant experience: the rooms are decorated in a simple but modern and practical way - they were also quite spacious and impeccably clean. Dorothea was so friendly, sweet and helpful to us. Upon our arrival she gave us useful information about the local services and restaurants, and a map with routes for hiking, which made our planning process so much easier since it was our first time in this beautiful region! Every morning we had breakfast at Lisas, which was so varied, fresh and delicious, before going off for a hike around the area. The landscape in Bregenzerwald was breathtaking. There are so many hiking options, and despite the neighbouring villages being quite small, there are plenty of options for trying the local food and drinks, as well as supermarkets and other services, even in the summer. In a nutshell, we had such a lovely stay and would love to come back sometime!

The stay was absolutely wonderful- there is a shared kitchen and a guest room for guests and the kitchen was fully equipped with all possible amenities like a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, stove as well as with all sorts of plates, bowls, mugs and cutlery- everything that you could need for a comfortable stay. The guest room had a coffee machine and was fully stocked with creamers, sugar and coffee as well as offered an assortment of teas as well as some light alcohols. The bedroom was lovely and very clean and airy and you cannot beat the view of the mountains right outside your windows. The shower was very clean and had hot water available at all times. Overall, very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend!

The man who checked us in, I am guessing he was the owner, upgraded us to a lovely room with a kitchen from the second night as we were staying there for 3 nights. He was so very kind and generous. And for that I wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us such a wonderful stay. The place also has a sauna, which was perfect for all the hiking we did. And we bought so much cheese from there to take with us back home.
