My wife and I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel and wished we would have stayed longer. The hotel owner (Tamer) and his nephew (Mo) made us feel at home, helping us organising trips at very fair prices and preparing delicious breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel is located in a Nubian village, on the West Bank of the Nile. You can get there very easily for 10 EGP per person with the public ferry. The atmosphere in the hotel and the village is very relaxed, which we absolutely loved after coming from very busy cities like Cairo and Alexandria.
One of our highlights was the morning run + swim in the Nile that we did with Mo, who showed us the best spots in the village and in Aswan.
We will definitely come back to visit these guys who became our family for some days

An oven, a fridge and stovetop are also available, as well as a kettle. At the guest house, units include bed linen and towels. Everything was perfect, the location just a minute away the public ferry, the incredible terrace with breathtaking view over the Nile, spotless clean big room, etc. There was even a sandstorm the night before and when we arrived you couldn't see a grain of sand. Best of all is Mohammed, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we need. He arrange for someone to come and pick up my heavy suitcase as I was traveling alone with children, organized a really nice captain to visit the Nubian village, etc. Would come back in a heartbeat.

I recommend to stay at least 2 nights to enjoy Abu Simbel temple at night and also the sunrise boat ride with view of the temple. breakfast was also great. Room is comfortable and clean, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the city center. Although you need to take a boat to get there, you can contact the staff and will pick you up quickly, not take more than five minutes to arrive.
We relished our time at this charming guest house. We stayed in the studio for 5 days (really more than Aswan warrents) and loved it. Staying on the island, wandering the streets and pathways, spending evenings and mornings soaking up the view, and jumping in the Nile at the end of the day - pure majic. The guest house is a world away from the bussle of Aswan at the same time as Aswan is easy to get to (for anyone turned off by the 5 min walk to the guest house it is easy to grab a private water taxi).
I am not a fussy person so that I am easy to please the room was clean it had coffee it had a tea kettle, shared kitchen area. This room does not have a private Bath but the bath in the Shared area is nice. The split AC is a luxury and I really am comfortable in these beds compared to some of egypts mattresses .for $27 it was wonderful and the breakfast was quite good too. Also I have stayed here several times and I've brought my son who was autistic who has a hard time with new places but he really likes it here
Location was lovely: so quiet and peaceful! Staff very helpful in terms of arranging travel to/from hotel (though excursions can be found cheaper elsewhere).
Incredible atmospheric design of the property in the heart of nubian village! Very clean and cozy, best bed i had in Egypt. Breakfast was very good, especially falafel)) the place is quiet and situated on the bank of Nile, you can swim. And you can take the boat directly to city center Aswan.
The host was amazingly friendly, even inviting us to his nieces engagement party while we were there and we got to experience some authentic Nubian food! The location is great, much quieter than staying on the east bank but also just a short and very cheap ferry ride over to the hustle and bustle. The room was nice and clean with a bathroom, ceiling fan, heaps of cupboard space, supplied towels and a really comfy bed. Would definitely reccomend!
Great location next to the Nile and 5 minutes on foot from the ferry. Also very nice rooftop to chill by the river. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, we were able to take our breakfast in a bag when we had to leave at 4am. He can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price.
Great location. Large apartment type accommodation directly on the nile. Amin was really nice and able to organise anything I needed. Right beside ferry that is very frequent and cheap. Lovely quiet island for walking around.
