Reasons for that were easy parking on a nice gravel spread in front of the house, tea and cake on arrival, spotless and extremely comfortable room (the whole place was very clean and well looked after), top quality breakfast and a very welcoming and attentive hostess.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast amazing. We continued on our hike the next day, but certainly could well imagine coming back for a longer stay.
