Her cooked breakfast was delicious, and there was additionally a great variation of cereals, yoghurts, and fruit. The room and bathroom were cosy and clean, and we instantly felt at home. Heathergate Cottage was easily reachable by car and is located in a calm, relaxing region close to the beautiful Dartmoor.

It’s honestly hard to describe Cherryford House with a standard review — staying there felt more like visiting family than booking a place to stay. The atmosphere was warm, homely, and every little detail was so thoughtfully considered. Even the shampoo was in my favourite scent — it felt like pure magic! The location is absolutely stunning and easily makes it into our top places we’ve ever stayed in the UK. We also booked dinner during our stay and Christophe cooked everything himself using local ingredients — it was incredible. I’m usually quite picky with food, but we devoured everything in seconds 😅. Caroline and Christophe were always around if we needed anything and were so kind and helpful throughout. We’re genuinely so happy to have met them! We were also thrilled that our dog Matti was so warmly welcomed — he was allowed everywhere and clearly loved it just as much as we did. Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be back.
