Incredible location overlooking the lake! The room was so comfortable and warm, lots of light and the shower was good and hot. Robert is the most gracious host and went above and beyond for us. He even dropped us to Castle Leslie for a wedding we were attending. Amazing breakfast prepared by a lovely woman, sadly I forgot her name but she was great craic! The woman who came to clean too was really kind and accommodating too.

Located in Carrickmacross and only 24 km from Jumping Church of Kildemock, Descart Lodge provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. What was there not to like about the property, beautiful decor, lovely host and a great nights sleep. I couldn’t thank Duncan enough, everything was thought out perfectly and made the whole stay wonderful
