Free transport to the elephant transit home is provided. Very nice guesthouse managed by a sweet family who takes great care of you and the property. The food was excellent, and the safari experience we did with them too. They were very flexible to adapt things for us because of our 3 year old child. One of the best places we stayed in our 1month travel in Sri Lanka.

After changing our plans and coming to Udawalawe a night earlier than planned (and in need of some luxury), this place was exactly what we needed. The hosts were so friendly, the buffet dinner was delicious and great value and the swimming pool was amazing. They organise safari for us with easy and served breakfast on return. The rooms were well sized and comfy. Would 100% Recommend!

Some units feature a terrace and/or a balcony with pool views and outdoor furniture. The units include a dressing room. The owner (Dim) was incredibly helpful. He organised a safari for us and included breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Safari was super nice, we had a private jeep and a private tour guide. He showed us the most beautiful spots and managed to find a lot of elephants!! We even saw a 2 month old baby elephant with his mum. It was an experience to remember forever.

At the guest house, all units come with bed linen and towels. Wonderful place to stay to enjoy Udawalawe Park owned by a welcoming couple. The bungalows are large, clean, and beautifully constructed. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evening and showering in the outdoor waterfall shower. We were greeted with tea and cake. Dinner is spectacular vegetarian Sri Lankan cuisine. Go for the tours offered by the hosts as well. They are great. We did a 4 hour morning safari and saw many elephants, often without other jeeps around, as well as loads of birds, plus water buffalo and a crocodile. All in all, a wonderful operation. Perfect one night stop for your time in Udawalawe.

Dasun, his family and friends are really nice people. They helped us to organise tha safari, the driver was also absolutely nice with us, we had a great trip. Dasun's mom made us always a huge and extremely good meal. The cottage was also really nice and comfortable. We absolutely recommend the place!:)
