It was the best breakfast I've ever gotten at a bed and breakfast/hotel. It was a great breakfast for the price we paid and the staff were very accomodating.

If you are in Gozo, stay here! Our room was wonderful but what made it so outstanding was the service! They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The breakfast was superb, we had a different breakfast all 3 days. We highly recommend it, it was our favourite places in our whole trip.!!!

The place is newly renovated and every detail was perfect! Plus the rooftop pool and gym were new, clean and so amazing. The shower was spacious and modern. Francis and Raji were so helpful and made our stay perfect! We will return and stay again for sure. And the village is so quaint and nice. Great place to base yourself to explore the whole island! Not very touristy like Victoria but has plenty of restaurants and cafes etc....

Massimo runs a first-class guest house, in a quiet location, with lovely views, very well situated close to Xaghra centre with all the amentities of shops and restaurants, and Ramla bay for those interested in spending time on the beach. We spent 5 relaxing days in San Pawl. The room was large, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with excellent choice of quality products, delicious homemade baked goods made by Massimo himself, and offers of hot, freshly cooked food too if you wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble, and Massimo went out of his way to help us in any way he could during our short stay. We would highly recommend and would love to return again.

This is a lovely place to relax - it's quiet and comfortable, the hosts are super friendly and caring, the facilities are great, incl. two pools, and the breakfast was freshly made and with some variety every day. Easy parking in front of the property.

The boutique nature of Sunrise Lodge (only ten rooms in total) provided a more personal experience for us and this, we believe, is the best place to stay in all of Malta - not just on Gozo - but the entire country. Sure, there are places that cost USD$1000+ per night that would also be great, but Sunrise Lodge represents unsurpassed value for money. It is only a ten minute walk, all downhill, to the ferry terminal that connects Gozo to the island of Malta. Ferry trips are also fairly short and inexpensive. We would choose to stay on Gozo for the duration of our stay next time, using this delightful island as our base. We must also give a big shout out to Joe, Sunrise Lodge's Welsh chef. Joe is a character, and he and James are a great team. They make a great breakfast! For first-time visitors to Malta, seriously consider Sunrise Lodge as your place to stay. You will, like us, be delighted with your decision.
