I was very pleased to stay in this wonderful guest house. It’s hard to find such pleasant hosts anywhere else, who will feed you dinner and breakfast right from the door. In addition, they helped me with transportation and how to get to these places. The house itself is an excellent place for travelers who want to get away from the bustle of the city in the mountains. There is everything for this, a comfortable bedroom and shower room and an unusually beautiful view.

But what sets Zartonq apart is the following: when we casually mentioned to the hosts we weren’t able to buy delicious herbal tea from Tatev region, the next day they had procured it for us. The owner is a young, nice lady after university, who definitely deserves praise and recommendation for others to choose this accommodation. You can communicate with her in English. The accommodation has a separate entrance and is separated from the household. The location is great and you will enjoy the atmosphere of the village. There is absolute peace and quiet. Environment with a view of the mountains. Tatev monastery nearby. There is also a local shop and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic!

The hosts are so nice people. They help with everything. There are all the facilities to stay there. The room was very clean, comfortable bed. There is hot water in the bathroom, washing machine. We felt like at home.

Ana-Maria and her husband are extremely welcoming. Their place is simple, very clean, with beautiful views of the mountains. Ana Maria is a great cook, she prepared a wonderful armenian meal for us. She even speaks some Spanish so we could communicate, but she made a great effort to be able to be understood. Their place is 10 minutes walk from the amazing monastery of Tatev and Wings of Tatev station. Recommended if you are looking for a true Armenian experience.
