the room was a 2 bed- bedroom flat with small kitchen and separate shower-room. the first room had the kitchen, a table with chairs and a sofa bed, the second room had a double and a single beds. the shower-room was outside on the staircase, very clean and warm, fitted with towels and hand-soap. the accommodation looked into a private internal courtyard, where my kids could play and run. It is a dog-friendly accommodation, free of charge. Mr Martin was very friendly and helpful, runs a wine shop connected with his farm so you could buy it on the spot. He also let us stay one more night for free, as the cleaners didn't come the day we were supposed to check out. (1st January) The location is outside Vienna, but easily reachable by car, free car park at the location.

Our family absolutely loved this home in Stillfried. The size, facilities and cleanliness were exceptional, and sitting out in the huge garden in the evening was a perfect way to end the day. Stillfried is a beautiful, peaceful Austrian village. While some might prefer to have a car, the train station is only a couple of minutes walk from the house and so we used that. The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful to us on arrival, and throughout our stay she was very responsive to any queries we had. 100% recommended.
