Staying in wooden house surrounded by jungle, nature, animals sounds, flying birds and all the green around was amazing! View from the balcony is spectacular, we relaxed and had a great time, even saw a Tuckan very very close :) kitchen is well equipped, we didn’t lack anything and felt very comfortable. Swimming pool was clean and kids had a lot of fun there :) 10/10, worth recomanding! As an advantage I can add closeness of Nauyaca Waterfalls, if anyone is planning a visit, the bungalow is a perfect location.

We stayed at ballena rey hotel for 2 nights. It is the best hotel we have ever stayed at during our trip in Costa Rica. WiFi and parking are free, and this hotel also features a beatifull swimming pool with a waterfall. Gilberto is an amazing and lovely host. He is really helpful and funny. We needed to do our laundry and he arranged to do it without any problems. We are highly grateful for that. The apartment is brand new and has modern design and the matress is really comfortable... we slept very well. It is totally worth it! We highly recommend it if you want to stay at modern and clean place and be surrounded also by lovely people.

Loved the private pool for the kids, very well equipped kitchen and bbq. The lush gardens front and back were beautiful. We saw loads of wildlife there.

We had a great stay, room was very clean and the shared kitchen area was clean and had everything you could need to cook with. The pool was nice and lots of bird life even within the property. The staff were also very friendly, would highly recommend!

Madre Terra is the perfect place to just 'be'. The rooms are so comfortable and the vibe so chilled that you won't want to leave. Relax in the pool, say 'hello' to the dogs, grab some food from the nearby restaurants or just lounge around on the sunbeds, it's all there. Marci and Sandro are so friendly, helpful and just add to the already relaxed atmosphere. Also the attention to detail and thought put into the rooms didnt go unnoticed. Staying with them is exactly what we needed.
