First of all Matthew the host is such a nice guy, helpful and there for any questions. Second of all it’s in an amazing location, beautiful views, quiet and so peaceful with nature surrounding you you really get the feel of being in Costa Rica I highly recommend this place and really enjoyed our time! Definitely needs a 4x4 to get to the place however it’s recommended to rent a 4x4 in Costa Rica no matter where you go because of the roads.

Casa Uvita Bay is a real gem and phenomenal value for the money. The property has been recently renovated, so it is very fresh, clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen area well equipped. The mattresses are new and really comfortable. THere's a nice small pool to hang and relax. The property is walkable to the gorgeous beach and many restaurants and shops. A 10 out of 10, without a doubt.

Everything was perfect. We had 2 amazing days in Uvita. Excellent contact with the host. The house is brand new, fully equipped. Excellent equipment in the kitchen. Barbecue area. A place on the terrace overlooking the forest, where you can eat peacefully. Comfortable and large bed. Excellent internet connection. Very clean and functional bathroom. The neighborhood is quiet, you can only hear birds (hummingbirds, parrots and toucans). Fantastic pool, hammock and plenty of space where you can relax. No problem to find restaurants and eat in the area. To the beach quite close about 10 minutes walk. We also used the laundry service (fast and inexpensive - we recommend). Madre Terra is the perfect place to just 'be'. The rooms are so comfortable and the vibe so chilled that you won't want to leave. The hosts were lovely and really made us feel at home. The location is great and very close to the beach. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated with a lovely balcony to relax. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and it was was delicious - lots of care and attention given to the details.
