Everything. The place is like a paradise garden. Elmer is also a fantastic cook, dinner was the best rocks food I had in Costa Rica. Make sure to arrive before night fall, this way it's easier to find the way

We loved our stay. The owner cristian and his wife were amazing people. So helpful. Loved the accomodation. Was basic but very comfortable. Good air-conditioning for when it was needed. The location was so relaxing. So much wild life around. Is about a 40 to 60 minute walk to drake town depending on how fast you walk. The walk itself is very beautiful. Highly recommend staying here. They serve tasty food and drinks as well.

Everything was perfect about our stay. The accommodation is spotless clean, with a spacious room and the cleanest bathroom I had in Costa Rica. It has a beautiful terrace which is lovely to relax and chill. The kitchen has everything you need. Breakfast is delicious and it includes pinto, coffee and fruit. The owner was very kind and helpful the whole time Highly recommended if you go to Corcovado and great value for money!

Sebastian and Maria were the most amazing hosts. We had to change plans at the last minute due to road closures and cancelled accommodation. After confirming last minute availability at Bajo Bosque, I had a WhatsApp message 5 minutes later from Sebastian re-assuring us he'd be waiting on the beach to transfer us to Bajo Bosque after our boat transfer from Sierpe (we highly recommend this route in to Drake Bay). On the first morning, Sebastian took us into town and pointed out the best shops to buy fruit, veg and store-cupboard supplies. Later in the week when we experienced a power outage, Sebastian was down in a heartbeat with a gas burner so we could make our morning coffee and breakfast. We saw so much wildlife from the balcony of Bajo Bosque, with messages from Sebastian each time he spotted a Sloth in the trees. The Macaws were also a common sight in the trees road-side. We enjoyed the easy 20 minute walk down to the start of the Drake Bay hiking trail (spotted a Tapir on the road at night!). We were travelling with kids, and there was never a complaint about the walking because we always saw so many exciting things long the way. Sebastian also offers transfers at a reasonable cost which are well worth it to explore more of the Drake Bay Hiking trail. Our change in plans meant that we stayed 3 nights longer than originally planned, spending 7 nights in total. This was in hind-sight such a great alteration to our itinerary because our stay at Bajo Bosque was hands-down the best part of our 3 week holiday in Costa Rica. We'd also highly recommend a creek tour with José whose knowledge of frogs is incredible!

Everything. Sabrina and Edu are exceptional and kind hosts. We felt we were welcomed into their little slice of paradise. Location: Perfect for those who want to slow-down and reconnect with nature Service and Activities: Thanks for arranging tours and excursions as well as shuttling us around for a smooth and stress-free trip. The property itself has so much to explore and do from paddling to wildlife watching, to hiking, to exploring the local surroundings. Fantastic Food: Every meal was home-made with items from scratch some of which with ingredients directly grown and sourced from the property! Ambiance: Waking up every morning to the sounds of a living breathing wildlife sanctuary... what more can I say?

Nice place to stay with rooms with airconditioning, a short walk from the beach and restaurants. The owner Javier is friendly and was able to help us with booking our tours. He was also our tour guide in Corcovado NP on our overnight trip there. This was the highlight of our visit to Costa Rica. Javier is very knowledgeable and we saw tapirs, sloaths, anteater and many other animals. Our drive to Drake Bay was hard without a 4x4. Would not recommend. With 4x4 doable.
