The fantastic location adjacent to the beach meant that we could hear the sound of the waves as we fell asleep and as we awoke in the morning. The sunrise and sunset seen from the beach were very special. We had regular visits from a group of white faced capuchin monkeys, saw red macaws, frequent groups of pelicans flying low to the sea and a resident sloth. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This was a perfect end to 18 days in Costa Rica.

We had a fantastic stay at the Riverside Villas. The location is excellent and we even had the chance of spotting several animals from our balcony, especially in the morning, such as squirrel monkeys, macaws, agoutis, hummingbirds and iguanas. Our apartment was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Furthermore, our hosts Charlie and Carlos were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely choose this accommodation again when being in Manuel Antonio.

Tico Tico Villas are charming. While located close to the main road from Quepos to Manuel Antonio, you’d be amazed that once stepping inside the area you are a part of the nature, with some iguanas as neighbours and monkeys passing through the roof. Facilities are well equipped and beautiful.

The property was spacious and clearly well cared for. All facilities you need. Eli was very helpful. El cerdo feliz was a great cafe/restaurant very close and there was a useful cornershop too.

There are so many things to love about Puesta del Sol! The gracious host and warm welcome, the pool with a view over mangroves and out to sea. Beautiful sunsets. A lovely big bed in a comfortable room.

Our stay in the quadruple room with a Mountain View at Esquipulas was an idyllic retreat, offering the serenity and beauty of a chalet-like setting. The room itself was well-equipped, featuring a kitchen complete with coffee and a coffeemaker that allowed us to enjoy delicious local coffee each morning. The seating area and large patio with a hammock provided the perfect spots for relaxation and taking in the stunning mountain views. The peacefulness was further enhanced by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall and the diverse birdlife, making it an ideal spot for bird watching and embracing the natural environment. The staff’s super helpful and supportive nature, along with their sensitivity to dietary requirements, ensured our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable.

Good kitchen, big and bright private room with good AC. Alison and her sister were super helpful and nice with recommendations, information and some translation issues. She even gave us a tip off about baby turtles being released last minute which enabled us to have an amazing morning at a beach close by.
