It's unbelievable what a great service we got here for such a small money value! The room was cleaned every day, which I really did not expect in a budget type of accomldation and never experienced before. The shower, omg!!! It felt like a luxury being able to take hot shower with good pressure, that is not what you can take for granted in Cape Verde. Breakfast is Italian bruschettas of various rich flavours, and it's BIG, you are super full after it and ready for a day of trekking. Vito is such a kind and helpful host.

Me and my sister had a wonderful time at Casa das Ilhas. We did amazing hikes, thanks to the owner Katelijne, who indicated the routes on our phone and arranges the transfer to the starting point of the hike. That was really great! Each evening we enjoyed a tasty dinner after a long day of hiking. The rooms are basic but contain everything you need, including a beautiful view and a very comfortable bed. We would definitely come back!

Sandrina was an amazing host. The house was in perfect conditions, clean as we never saw before and with all the things we needed. She prepared breakfast every morning, what was amazing, with bread, juice, fruit, homemade cake, coffee. She changed the beds sheets 2 days after, even if we would just stay 4 nights. Arranjed a van for us to go early morning and was always there when needed. The location it is not in sea front, but location it is where you choose and we liked this one, 3 minutes walking from the waves.

I spent 4 days here with a friend and we had such a lovely time staying at Antonio’s hotel. The hotel is tucked away in Eito (around 20mins walk to Pombas) and surrounded by lush vegetation.. a real disconnection from real life :) That being said the wifi works really well if needs be. Antonio was a great help suggesting hikes and restaurants in the area as well as being super friendly. The added bonuses were the breakfast to get ready for the long walks and the pool afterwards! Thanks to Antonio and your team for making the stay super memorable.

Fabulous view. Light and airy apartment high on mountain side, facing sea and another mountain-side. Reception by Sylvia and António (a fisherman-musician whose fresh fish we ate each night we were there). The apartment was a good base to visit places round about (Ponto do Sol, Vale de Paul, Ribeira de Torre, road to Corda, etc.) - we arranged a good trip through Sylvia.

In 10 days in Cape Verde it was my favourite stay! I loved the location. You wake up in the middle of nature, hearing frogs and birds. At night you can see the stars. Next to a beautiful waterfall and Xoxo valley hike. The staff is helpful and friendly. We had them cook dinner for us which we shared with other guests. Incidentally, there was a power cut - the staff cooked the dinner with candlelight and then we also ate it with candlelight. An experience to remember!
