Great location in this cute town - next to some nice places to eat and with views of the mountains and coast. Also in a good location to do the hike to Fontanillas. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the area is quiet at night - with the window open you can hear the sea. Also, a lovely breakfast.

Best accomodation in Cabo Verde we had. Sisi is very kind and helpful. Good contact and friendliness of the owner. The breakfasts offered by the accommodation are above expectations and very plentiful. There is much more to breakfast than what is shown in the picture in booking.com. The freshly squeezed juice deserves special attention. We've never had such a good drink. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Very nice hostel with great view of the ocean. And right next to center of town and collectivo pick up point. Super clean and everything is new and well maintained. Cleaning comes everyday and contact with hostess was quick and service super good. I would definately recommend this place. :) tip: go to local soccer match on saturdays in ponta del sol.

Kaas d’Vizin is a beautiful stay in the mountains, the room is very spacious, was super clean and is nicely decorated just as the whole house is. Very enjoyable rooftop restaurant with nice view on mountains. Food was absolutely great, all vegan which we did not know and honestly did hardly notice! Very friendly staff

Where do I start? This place is fabulous, but even more fabulous are the hosts! Margaret and her lovely family make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. She's super attentive, cares about her guests and treated us like royalty. She prepares a magnificent breakfast every day, all home made and with local products, most from her own garden. She gave us very good advice on what to visit, which hikes to do and the best logistics to enjoy our time on the island. She pointed us to a festivity in the village nearby and recommended nice places to enjoy local food and drinks. And she cooked dinner for us every evening, every time a different dish, including a typical local stew and the famous cachupa. Everything was DELICIOUS! The house has a glorious view of the valley and the mountains in the background are just unbelievable, they seem to be taken straight out of a fantasy book! The dining area has a massive open window to the scenery and the room we had also had a big window with the same view. The location is perfect: quiet and conveniently close to Ribeira Grande, Paúl and Ponta su Sol. It was very easy to reach by car and we do recommend anyone who can afford the rental price to drive up to Margaret's house and park right in front. The roads are safe and driving is easy. There's practically no traffic and it's simple to move around. If you cannot afford a car, Margaret is also happy to give you information on how to reach her place with private transport or public, collective transport. She's just wonderful and she'll make you feel at home! Finally, the room was comfortable, clean and we had a very good sleep every night! I hope to come back soon, I left a piece of my heart here! If you like to be away from the hustle and bustle of town life and hear the crickets sing as you sleep, this is your place. The staff welcome you like family and they care so much about your experience. The food was so fresh and lovingly prepared by the gracious and helpful hosts. We left our phone charger behind and one of the staff went the extra mile to deliver it by hand at our next destination.
