The best guesthouse we visited on Faroe. Fully equiped kitchen. There was also separate dining room. The housekeeper flexible and helpfull. The rooms and bathrooms are really beautifull and balanced with style. Great place for starting or finishing the Faroe exploration.

When I first opened the door I thought I was at the wrong place. Because it seemed so big and nice for the price that I had paid. The apartment is really well equiped and nicely decorated. So cosy! A good kitchen, a lovely warm bathroom, everything is clean. The window on the front bedroom looks right out on the beach and village skyline. A nice way to wake up. The host is very nice and I felt very welcome. Just perfect.

The Boat House is just amazing! Comfy, spacious, brighty, quiet... everything is perfect to feel like in your own home at the Faroes. The most impressive are the views from both sides of the house: the fjord and Eysturoy Island one side, and the village of Hosvik with its waterfalls other side. Incredible all the work that Gunnbjorn and his family have done rebuilding the boat house after a storm destroyed the original one. Now the Boat House looks so pretty and gorgeous! Perfect for a road trip around all the Faroe Islands because it is just in the middle of Streymoy.

Perfect. Clear explanations from the host, everything was understandable and easily accessible, the beds were incredibly comfortable. The view was truly beautiful, and the location was ideal for embarking on a (exhausting but worthwhile) walk to Bøur and Gásaladur, or by car otherwise.
