This was such an amazing experience staying in a Chateau from the 17th century. We had a beautiful picnic for dinner in the garden. Stephanie is so welcoming. A beautiful and memorable way to end our trip in France.

The location was perfect. The room was very spatious and light. The bed was excellent - loved it. The breakfast was delicious. Every day it was slightly different. Nice suprise. We were able to use the fridge which was helpfull.

A wonderful start to our French tour. Our hosts were so welcoming. Offered us a cold platter for dinner. Did not expect much but it was faabulous, as was the breakfast, in a beautiful dining room. The chateau and grounds are immaculate, clearly very well cared for and very comfortable. Great pool and Jacuzzi just added to whole experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic Gite walking distance to Lac L'homme, which has inflatables, paddle boards etc to hire, a lovely beach and restaurant. The Gite is great value for money, lovely old farm building with a pretty garden. Flexible accomodation. We have 4 children ranging 7 to 17 and it worked perfectly. Lots to see and do close by including a great tree top experience in Rille. Samaur is 40 mins away and is a pretty medieval town on the Loire river. Lots to do here and a great selection of restaurants.

FRANCOISE THE OWNER WAS THERE TO GREET US ON ARRIVAL. VERY COSY BUT SPACIOUS GITE AND FRANCOISE OFFERED US A VISIT TO THE FROMAGERIE WHERE WE PURCHASED EGGS AND CHEESES YUMMY. AN ABSOLUTE PEACEFUL HAVEN AND WE WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYTHING WORKED!!!!

    Perfect! Exceptionally comfortable and well equipped, and very convenient with a boulangerie in the village within a 3 minute walk. Plenty of outdoor space, with a covered seating area and barbecue (not used due to short stay). Safe and secure parking, and a very welcoming host. Already looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

    The house is very comfortable and spacious (we were there with 2 people). Great bed, fully equipped kitchen, large shower area, and roomy sitting area / kitchen, all on the same floor. There is a terrace outside as well – which we have not used. We have used this house to visit Tours (about 45 min drive), Castle of Villandry (beautiful gardens), Castle of Azay-le-Rideau and the Abbey of Fontevraud (all of these with 30-45min by car). There is a castle in Gizeux as well (which we have not visited).
