The room was great, clean and really well furnished. The tea and coffee tray was the best I have ever seen in a pub/hotel ! I love the fact that the owner left everything you need (water, and even wine!), and you can even order food from the pub in your room. I highly recommend it and will maybe stay again myself.

An experience like no other, an absolute masterclass in hospitality (and I have worked in hospitality for 15 years). My father and I were welcomed with open arms, like friends or family rather than paying guests. Everything is so relaxed and laid-back, you can't help but have a wonderful stay. We particularly enjoyed the cuddles with the doggies, while chatting to our passionate and enchanting hosts. The rooms are cosy, quiet and very comfortable. Beautiful location in the countryside, close to restaurants and shops. We can't stop talking about this place, it truly is extra-ordinary (especially in this age of key-boxes and contactless check-in). We are looking forward to coming back with family for many future visits.

Beautiful setting and building Friendly welcoming staff I received a free upgrade which meant I got to stay in the main house. I saw a cosy lounge area for afternoon tea. Beautiful grand staircase. Festive decorations made it really warm and cosy. Attended a party in the stable area. Perfect for a sit down meal for around 60 people. Food was fantastic and hot. Service was excellent Late checkout is 11am which leaves time to enjoy the breakfast from a menu. Not by buffet style. Highly recommend.

I had an incredible experience staying at this property! The host was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The property was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The location was perfect, with stunning views and easy access to local attractions. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail, from the cozy and stylish furnishings. The communication with the host was seamless, making the whole process stress-free. I can't wait to return definitely going to returnand would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Outstanding accommodation. Really couldn't fault it. Laurain was just lovely and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. We had fresh bread and cake upon arrival, along with fresh milk and eggs. The hot tub had been preheated for our enjoyment too. A wonderful 4 night stay. We will be back! Bed was comfy and the bathroom had all the essentials. Dolly the puppy was delightful too.

    The Bowl Inn is a lovely pub located in the countryside with easy access to many beautiful villages and also not far from Maidstone. Great spot to use as a base for touring around Kent & East Sussex. Great food and very comfortable accommodation. Super friendly and cosy place! If we lived close by this would be our local for weekend meals/visits. It is what I expect a pub to be like!
