Amazing family managing this place. They are really lovely. The view is wonderful, it's like a dream. The hotel is on a cliff, you are literally above the water. Our stay at villa Penelope was an excellent choice. The host was really hospitable. The house was clean and cozy and the view to the mountain was great. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in a traditional, picturesque village. It is really easy to find free parking space near the house. I will definitely choose villa Penelope for my next visit to the island.

We were offered delicious local Cretan treats on the day of arrival. The property is beautifully renovated, one of the nicest buildings in Kavousi. The owners have paid much attention to even the slightest detail. Kafenes is in a central, yet quiet location.
