Amazing place to stay with a family that loves to travel and explore as the place is nicely placed outside of the city center and you can quickly get to the main roads you need to. The place is made with a great taste and it feels that you are the first guest after it opened. But they are in the business for almost 2 years, still everything looks fresh. Owner and the hosting team was super supportive. The pool was amazing. The suite was perfect for a family as pearents could sleep in the upper floor and the kiddo enjoyed Netflix downstairs.

10/10 would recommend staying at this property! The entire premises, the room, the hosts, the location were everything I could’ve asked for and more. They’ve put so much detail and enthusiasm into renovating this historic home and it shows. The location is great - everything is walkable, yet you’re not in the touristy area. Also, that bed is COMFY!

The moment we arrived even a bit earlier than the actual check in, the room was already waiting for and we received all the necessary details for a perfect stay. The flat was super modern with all the comforts to feel like home during our stay. We loved everything about our stay - from all the kitchen and bathroom facilities to most comfortable bed, but also amazing pool area and the calm atmosphere. It’s so hard just to pick one best thing to define our stay. Everything was perfect, everything was higher than what we expected. The room was great, always at its cleanest, the location couldn’t be better: it’s close to the main attractions, keeping it not too busy but still full of good restaurants with wonderful views in the neighborhood. Even the beach at two minutes walk wasn’t that bad, if you go a little more on the right you can really find hidden gems. The ladies working there were amazing, never received such a service, they were all so nice and always ready to help. Not just nice and kind every single time but really genuinely good people. I would go back to Chania everyday if I could and I would always stay here.

    My stay here was truly perfect. It has everything I need and is very clean. I enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea. The village of Aptera is small but has a small market and three good restaurants. If I visit Crete again, I will 100% use this paradise. Highly recommended!

    This place in June was a steal - so cheap and you get an amazing pool + view on a quiet location. The tavernas of the village have amazing local food, and you're only 15-20 minutes away by car from the heart of Chania. It's not fully renovated but very very well taken care of so again, as I said, a steal (very good) for the amount of money you pay!

    Magnificent views and trekking is amazing here. Super kind and helpful staff and great laundry services/facilities. The hotel is situated on a hillside of a mountain and this alone is worth a visit. The pool is good too. The village has a family taverna with excellent food.

    We chose to stay for a few nights, after 11 nights elsewhere in West Crete, because it is close to the airport and to Aptera archaeological sight, which is wonderful! The room had a great view of the bay. Room facilities were fairly basic but very comfortable for our stay, and it had all the essentials. The pool was great, although for me, not being a good swimmer.:), a little deep at 1.8 metres. The village tavernas are excellent. Walking in the local countryside is very good.

    Amazing stay in this traditional Cretan villa, where the past (photos, decors) is masterfully blend with the present (air conditioning, kitchen facilities). Sitting in the garden, in the early night, under the olive trees, looking at the distant lights and talking with each other - what a simple yet effective way to reach peace of mind. We feel grateful to the hosts who where very helpful and generous and we hope that we will return soon.
