Everything! Excellent location - especially if you’re carrying heavy bags - as it’s right by the port, and also less than 5mins walk to the entrance of the National Park (which is a must!!). The room was spacious and clean. The Restaurant Pomena (where you check in) has very tasty, freshly made food, and they give you a 10% discount if you’re staying in the guesthouse so it makes it more economical than the rest of the restaurants. Payment at the guesthouse is cash only, but at the restaurant they take card. They kindly let me leave my bags at the restaurant the checkout day whilst I waited for the afternoon ferry. 5mins walk to the harbour pool area - which has free decking chairs! Great place to spend a few hours in wait! They also kindly provided me with some hot water for my thermos flask in the mornings for which I was extremely grateful (as no kitchen and no kettle in the room as mentioned in many reviews).

This was the most homely comfortable accommodation on our whole trip. The view from the balcony was stunning. I could step out the door to swim in the clearest water. The host was very friendly and kind - - he cooked us fabulous fresh seafood dinners. While the room (also the price) is basic, there is everything you need for a relaxing break.

I just loved the place. It is well equipped, modern cosy, and clean. Great view of the island and sea. Facing south so great for colder parts of the year. Since my stay was in December, I really appreciated that hosts have kept the heating on prior to my arrival 🙌

Marijana was a perfect host, offered me a coffee on arrival, showed me the place, helped with other things I needed and was so friendly and inviting. The area of this is beautiful, can easily hike to Veliki grad and Odysseus cave, no issues with finding it or parking. Lovely quiet place, the people in surrounding areas very friendly. Everything I needed inside the cave too. Great recommendation for the pizza place up the road, best pizza ever. For those who may not like cats, the cats are well fed and looked after and do not bother you at all, the cats and chickens are very funny to watch. The roosters can be loud sometimes in the morning but if it woke me I was easily able to go back to sleep. Absolutely loved this place I’d love to come back.

I truly loved our stay — the studio was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Our hostess was warm and welcoming. The village felt like a hidden gem, full of charm… with cats lounging around, chickens roaming freely, and roosters gently waking us in the morning. The air was filled with the sweet scent of jasmine and elderflower. It felt as if time had stood still. Absolutely magical.

    View from spacious terrace was spectacular overlooking village and bay, owners very friendly and helpful family, very clean, excellent location in village close to restaurants, supermarket, bike rental, ferry and a short walk to mljet national park. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Easy check in and out and possibility to leave luggage if departing on a later ferry. Island of mljet stunning and well worth a visit.

    Very good location: large parking just next to the property, nice swimming and sunbathing place just in front of the apartment, a row of restaurants in the vicinity. The village is placed on the edge of the national park which makes it a very nice location in general. There's plenty of stuff to see and hike, beautiful nature, sunsets and all that :-) Also, hosts are very kind -- the kindest I've met by now.

    Very central location. Pomena is s lovely village with friendly people. Beautiful surroundings the national Park is breathtaking. We hired e-bikes and rode around the lakes.
