Very nice apartment in a lovely small coastal village! We loved everything about this apartment and had four fantastic days and were very well taken care of by the host's mum who seems to run the show. Well equipped kitchen, effective AC, great location and a short-ish walk to the beautiful Žitna beach. Be aware that Zavalatica is small, with only two restaurants and one shop, but for a quiet vacation, we loved it! Things I think are not clear in the description: parking is great, which is important in a village like this. Also, the house has a private area by the ocean, with 8 sun beds and a shaded table and its own ladder into the ocean (for once, no swimming shoes required, this is to deep to step on a sea urchin) which made it super convenient to take a quick dip in the sea before breakfast and whenever the day got too hot. We had a very nice balcony and also use of the washing machine just outside our door. And the shop, with pretty much everything you need on a day to day basis, is a few steps away. Highly recommended!

Great for families. Cleanliness and tidiness is at its best. Also the host's help with suggestions for visiting beaches and other attractions. We asked the host for a tourist excursion on their boat, not to be missed, especially interesting for the little ones. The accommodation is beautiful and suitable for young families. We will be back. Apart from the beautiful beaches nearby, there is always something going on on the island so we suggest exploring! You can always contact our friendly host for advice. We highly recommend it!

    The host, Albina, was extremely kind and helpful, going above and beyond. The apartment had everything you need and the pool was gorgeous. A car is necessary if you want to explore the island, as public transport is not accessible. Albina was very kind in helping us sort out a car. The village is not touristy and very quiet and peaceful.

    Great value! The room is modest but has everything you need. Bathroom is old but fully functional and clean. WiFI is a bit spotty since it's on an island I guess. We had a great stay and enjoyed our vacation very much. Recommend having a car, since the property is located in a small and remote village without much to do.

    Great location, nice host, 15 min. walking to the one of the beautiful beaches Žitna. Private access to the sea from the apartment, but it’s not possible to swim there with the small kids, better go to the beach. Kitchen is comfortable for cooking, big terrace with sea view with morning shadow. There is supermarket in the village, it’s not so big, but every morning we bought fresh bakery, fruits and vegetables. In high season l didn’t feel that this village and beaches were crowded.

    The owners were really helpful and made me feel at home. I was able to relax and disconnect with the breathtaking view of my apartment. If you wanna spend time in a nice villa this is the best place to stay.

    This was one of the cleanest rentals we've ever had. Simple, sufficient and spotless. We have also really liked hosts, wonderful and hardworking family. Excellent communication, and a top of everything, they make great wine and olive oil. Apartment is perfectly placed just in the middle between the village centre (our afternoon swim place) and most divine Zitna beach (perfect in the morning). View is absolutely fantastic. Overall, high recommended.
