Very good experience at Sunset Guest House ! We arrived by public boat to Bunaken and the guest house it situated just a few meters from the arrival point. The tenants are very welcoming and can propose you tours to go snorkeling or dolphin watching. What surprised me the most was the food which was the best we had in Indonesia, and we’ve been here for 2 months. I cannot recommend this guest house enough. We spent 4 nights in total here and it was a bliss.

We had a great stay with Naca and his husband. They help us with everything, we arrive to Manado the independence day of Indonesia and there wasn't boats to Bunaken. We contact them and they get a private boat for us(not expensive). When we arrive to the island she was waiting for us on the pier. The room is a really cute and clean bungalow 1min walking from the sea. Get the pack of food with her, it's 150k per person, 3 meals and each meal with 3-4 different dishes. We try other places and the food wasn't even close to the food that she prepare( proper Indonesian food, not for tourist). Thanks for this amazing days, we will be back for sure!

The best and kindest homestay i have ever been! This homestay is unique in many forms: the owner Steven contacted me a few days before my arrival to answer all my questions, which was a solo female traveller very helpful. He organised me a taxi and boat from Manado to come to Bunaken and back. Through this i could catch directly my flight. Steven and Misi were always helping me with any situation coming up and I had the feeling I could always ask them anything (i had a difficult situation in the middle). The prices were always transparent and fair. They also helped me to find a very good diving school and helped me planning my snorkeling trips (they have a lot of contacts). Both are very kind, warm and open. They even invited me to celebrate New Years Eve with them and their friends. On my last night we had a small farewell party to which Steven invited some friends over to play music! The room is very clean and comfortable. In the whole house I always had perfect and fast Wifi (didn't expect it on an Island:)). The room had a fan and as an add-on AC. The food is cooked fresh, delicious and a lot. Dietary requests are taken serious (as for me i dont like fish and love Tempeh :)). I also rented a Scooter from them which had a very high quality! I am super happy and grateful I stayed at El Homestay and I am already planning to come back:). I honestly fell in love with this family. If you want to have homestay which feels like home and get to know the village of Bunaken and the culture you should definetely stay at El Homestay!

The staff Erol, Cintia, Nona and the whole dive team were all so nice with us,, we originally booked 6 nights in december then extended to 12 due to the amazing atmosphere, big holidays feeling, everydays are smiles sea and sun. Me and my girlfriend passed the PADI Open Water with 4 Sisters Divers, everything went smooth and well even if my gf was pretty new in diving. The protected underwaters in Bunaken are just so amazing, thousand of fishes, hundreds of sea turtles, extraordinary corals ect For early birds like me, the 2nd floor has an amazing view on the sunrise with long chairs that made super peaceful mornings. 4 Sisters offer also different services at good prices like snorkling, boats to nearby islands, scooter rental, pick-up, medical support.ect. We also met pretty amazing world travelers there. Very relax, friendly and interesting people. I definitely recommend to spend holidays in Bunaken and stay at 4 Sisters. formidable memories garanteed.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. He helped us a lot. The room was clean, and we had breakfast.

We arrived from abroad early morning. The check in process was easy and quick. Thank you for the professionalism of all the staff ( reception, kitchen, housekeeper)After having a nice breakfast we were able to rest in our room. The room is cozy, clean and comfortable. The wifi works well. The shower has hot water. The breakfast is healthy and good. We extended our stay with pleasure. Thank you Adetya for helping us to arrange our trip to Bunaken Island.

I originally only had 4 nights booked at 3WILL Bunaken but stayed for 14 nights! That should actually say enough if you were wondering if you should book! Being a solo female traveler, I'm always a bit cautious, especially traveling to off the beaten track locations, however all my questions were answered promptly and accurately. The transfer arranged by 3WILL from Manado Airport was efficient and definitely worth paying for compared to the irregular schedule of the public boat to the island. 3WILL are also able to do transfers at night, which I originally thought was not possible. The resort is beautifully located right by the seaside and there's a beach on which you can sunbathe or relax in hammocks. You can snorkel the coral reef right in front of the resort or you can join the dive boat to snorkel while the divers are diving. During the day there's large butterflies everywhere in the well maintained garden and at night I was mesmerised by fireflies! Being a divemaster, I was predominantly there for the diving which did not disappoint! Every dive was exciting and filled with an abundance of sealife! They were willing to also arrange a dive trip to Bangka Island which was very nice! I can highly recommend the night dives, as unlike most dive shops, they actually do a boat dive and not just a shore dive! The dive room is well setup with storage for gear and equipment. The dive guides, Jho and Elly were great at pointing out creatures small and large and knew the dive sites extremely well! The boat crew always made sure our gear was ready and served us fruit, biscuits and coffee during surface interval with a smile! The food was well prepared and a good combination of western and Indonesian cuisine, served buffet style, three times a day in the restaurant. They were also happily willing to cater for various dietary requirements. If you’re lucky, the local band might play during dinner which was very entertaining and a highlight of my time there!

The location was excellent but the star of this stay was Bella. She not only cooked the most amazing food for every meal but she also was so helpful with organising activities. She always had a smile and supported us in every way during our stay
