Homely appartment / house with all necessary facilities. Nice rural location and close to Bru na Boinne. Sandra made us feel very welcome and left a full package of goodies for breakfast plus a few more which were very appreciated. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable. Felt like a home from home and if plans had allowed we would have stayed longer.

We were facilitayed in a three bedroom house due to a flooding issue in Boyne House. Staff were more than welcoming.

That the Hotel was small but it was well equipped with Everything my Brother needed. He was very happy there. It was very good value. At first, my Brother was dissapointed because he thought that himself &myself and my Sister were all staying together in the Old Post Office but myself and my Sister had a Room in the Hotel across the road. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.
