Beautiful homestay in a peaceful location. Immaculately clean with beautiful views of the valley and delicious home cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed staying with Ronald and Sheila who made sure everything was good for us, including finding us a safe driver for four days. They also helped us plan our sightseeing trips in the local area and even took us to the local village to meet their parents. We would highly recommend for those looking to come to the Nilgiris hills, in particular foreign travellers who want to understand local culture and relax in the countryside. The WiFi was good enough to do some work calls which came up, which was helpful. Perfect English spoken. We enjoyed tea tasting at Tranquilitee and recommend Cafe Diem for lunch, an organic vegetarian cafe with a stunning view.

Quiet and cozy place with a great view on the hills. It is ideal for escaping the chaos and having some proper rest, it is not too far from the city centre - you can easily walk there. The hosts are really nice and genuine persons. Shailock is very curious and helpful, while Seby can make you the most delicious Indian breakfast. Super recommended for recharging the batteries while travelling!

My best time in India! I am deeply grateful for Kumar and his staff for hosting me. I came to India for a wedding and wanted to see some wildlife in Masinagudi. Staying with Kumar was the perfect climax of my trip. I don’t know what was best: The food? The warm-hearted hospitality? The nice and clean rooms? The great safaris with Kumar‘s friend Daniel? Everything was excellent about our stay with Mellow Mount. Neat, spacious, sparkling clean with all required amenities for the stay. We had booked for 4 adults and 2 kids but the property has accommodation space for 8 adults easily. Helpful caretaker who is always available for any help or enquiry. A number of good eateries and shopping areas are also easily available at a 5 min distance. Located at the heart of the city. The terrace is good with a view and fireplace. Loved the time spent with family at the fireplace. Private parking was available for an SUV as well. This 3-BHK homestay is really recommended for a leisure/offical stay.
