The property is a gem and a bit quirky, which suited us well. The rooftop bar was a nice surprise but the in house elevator was the icing on the cake. The rooms were furnished luxuriously. Our family had a wonderful time by the pool and garden

I just loved this place. I was traveling around south kerala with no plan and my bus was late.. however they waited for me and offered me a delicious dinner. the location is so quiet and the views of the lake are amazing... My plan was staying just one night, but i couldn't get enough of this marvelous place, wanted to wake up with this views for some more days...so I extended my stay..do not miss it if you are around and need some days of relax...!

Our stay at Mundro Garden Homestay was amazing. Deepa and her family were so welcoming and kind. We were always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. The room was very comfortable and clean and was located in a nice quiet, private corner of the garden. The table and chairs outside offered a great space to relax and eat meals. The homestay offers bicycle rental at a very reasonable 200 rupees per day. The food prepared every day was amazing! Everything we ate was delicious, and we enjoyed trying all of the local Keralan dishes that Deepa and her family made. You must also take the boat tour, it really showcases the beauty of the island. Overall, we absolutely love this homestay and will definitely return if we come back to Kerala!

The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. Akhil and his family is so kind, helpful and caring. They help you arrange boat/kayak tours and makes sure you are safe and comfortable the entire time, they made my stay in the island truly memorable. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is homemade from the heart - I loved it.
