Nice guesthouse very comfortable. Staff really friendly. Very good location for visiting Myvatn area. Kitchen is really good.

Everything was perfect! The attention to detail is impressive, you will be amazed with everything the hosts have hand crafted. It was without a doubt one of the best experiences we’ve had in Iceland and my brother even said it has been the best accommodation he’s ever stayed in (and he travels a lot!). Aska cottage is absolutely wonderful. Very cozy , everything clean and very well thought out . Kitchen very nice and came in very handy . We even had a barbeque outside Location is amazing . You have a beautiful view of the lake and church Bathroom very clean and beautiful I was amazed by how much you can achieve in that small cottage . And everything is neat and carefully done . The cottage is a little gem near lake Myvatn. And I would have stayed longer if possible . It is quite an expensive place but you also get a high-quality cottage in a beautiful location

Perfect location…finally got to experience the nature baths which were,very close by…excellent breakfast, wish we could have stayed a second night

We stayed in the cottage, so I can't tell about the other rooms. The cottage was great, very bright on the inside, fully equipped - including a BBQ on the terrace - and very spacious. To top the great accommodation an excellent breakfast was served in the main building - featuring several home-made products. A clear 10 out of 10.

Cottages are situated next to Myvatn lake, so the view is incredible. However, prepare for many myges (flies). The small cottage was suitable for a family of four. Kitchenette is small, but very well equipped; you can cook and prepare a proper meal here. Bathroom has everything one needs. Beds were comfortable and bed set pleasantly warm (dawn). Breakfast had many possibilities, form waffles, fresh fruit, different types of salami and even gluten free bread options. Not to mention amazing view from the dinning room. Lady at the breakfast was very, very kind and helpful. People like her make stay even more pleasant. Thank you!
