The place is amazing! If you want to experience Toscan, that's the place! Location is perfect - just about an hour away from Florence, Siena, Pisa and much less away from little villages such as San Gemigniano and all Chianti villages. View is breathtaking! The host is very nice and always ready to help. You can buy wine and olive oil and enjoy nature and real silence. The apartment has everything a family needs for a week stay - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron, ironing table, hair dryer. We had amazing time in Rifugio sulla via di Volpaia and we would come back again!

Kena and her team were absolutely incredible throughout the whole duration of our stay. They all made us feel so welcome during our stay and northing was too much for the team to accomodate, they recommended places to visit within the area and put on wine tasting with food for us which we would highly recommend to others. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional Tuscan style and are very comfortable to stay in. Our apartment was perfect in every way and we really appreciated a washing machine. The property offers stunning views over the Tuscan countryside with free secure parking on site. Would 100% recommend and hope to return one day!

The owner drove us to the next town to get to a restaurant and then picked us up again when we were done. So sweet. We were able to put our bikes in a garage, which was locked overnight. Also the breakfast was so good. They served freshly baked cake and so much other delicious food. The view from our window was also very special. We watched the sunrise over the vineyards.

    Such a quaint little village. The food at breakfast was great - yoghurt, fruit, bread, cheeses, meats, cakes .. and they'll cook up eggs and crispy bacon for you on request. The location for breakfast was very beautiful. The room, bed and bathroom all felt luxurious. A very quiet village with cyclists coming and going. Bar Ucci was good value for both lunch and dinner with a lovely atmosphere.

    The Villa is very beautiful with surprising and fun details. It is comfortable and feels as home, welcoming, warm and comfortable. Nice little spots have been created for seating and relaxing. The surrounding vineyards, the calm colors and the peace all attribute to the experience.

    DELICIOUS Breakfast!!!! Every morning freshly prepared products by Kristina and the team. Fattoria Poggerino is located in a nice small Tuscan village which is really well situated to visit the bigger villages/cities (Siena, Florence, ... )

    The villa and grounds are outstanding. Fantastic surroundings and the hosts are incredible people. We had a brilliant 3 week stay. The town of radda is beautiful with lots of bars and restaurants. The local bar and osteria down the hill from the villa are great. Perfect location to visit many towns.

    After seeing other villages in Tuscany, staying at the Castello in Volpaia was an absolute winner. Room was beautiful, nice touches like wine on arrival, breakfast was amazing. Volpaia is absolutely beautiful too.

    The location and tranquility and charm of the of the village was perfect, great little room and on our last night had a meal in the restaurant attached to winery. Waitress( chef’s wife ) was lovely. Food excellent!!
