Kenny and Lumi were exceptionally kind. Very helpful and thoughtful. This is a very good place to stay, especially if you don't speak Japanese since Kenny and Lumi both speak English: they are always willing to give advice and tips, and always willing and ready to help. This was a once-in-a-Lifetime experience! I could not rate them any higher if I tried. The host picked me up from the small railway station. At no charge. He helped me carry my heavy suitcase. Don’t bring one there if you can help it. He took me to this most beautiful location right next to a Buddhist-monastery. In the middle of the woods, going through small, adventurous roads. I was greeted with a matcha 🍵 and a sweet. A can of tea was given to me. My room had a big window to the woods. I went to view the surroundings and I was honestly stunned. His wife asked me if I wanted a bath and at what time I wished to eat. The food served in a separate private room by the family ( grandma and wife) was out of this world. So much love put into that. So much effort. And it never ended, the arrival of even more little pots and pans. I then slept in the perfectly clean little bed on the floor. Rainy night, so cozy. Breakfast was served and just as perfect as the evening before. The host took me back to the train. I left my bag at the station to see the Adachi- museum of art. All in all, if you are after the real Japanese experience- go here! I took the train here for 6 hours, and I would always do this again. I just wish they put their prices up. They are so much worth this- and more.

It is wonderful and comfortable house. As we coming to the house, the owner already turn on the air condition (It is wonderful especially the outside temperature is 4 degree C and raining). Especially there is handmade toast on the table as welcome gift. There are all set kitchen tool (oven, microwave, tableware...) and simple food in the refrigerator that you can cook by yourself as next breakfast. The "big" TV with 4K Japan TV signal and Netflix can let you enjoy your night time. The luxury restroom and bathtub can release your body. Do not forget the sea view that you can sit in the living room or bedroom to enjoy it. If you detail to check the daily necessities, they all are the good quality goods or famous brand in the world. One of the bedroom will have some noise for train but only low volume and short interrupt. If you are not the early bird that you can select another bedroom for sea view with quite.
