The two people who ran the hotel were extremely nice and friendly, and their cats were also lovely to see. The area is very secluded and peaceful, very idyllic. The shuttle service between Yumoto-Onsen and the hotel was an absolute lifesaver.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property, and it was a fantastic experience. We had access to the entire house, and all the facilities were included, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The space was well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing time, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy living areas. The host was amazing—extremely friendly and always available to answer any questions or offer assistance..The host responded promptly to our messages, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and the convenience of being able to reach out for any help, making this an overall excellent experience.

Very nice onsen inside hotel…try it twice altough we only stay for one night Lovely and delicious breakfast Owner is very attentive…he greeted us when we miss the hotel and let us sit near the heater in the cold night and help us to bring the luggages by himself Upgrade the room with a great room with massage chair inside the room…it is so wonderful Amazing lake view…. Also near wonderful kegon waterfall and shrine

The food was absolutely wonderful- we weren't expecting to be treated to such a feast on a nightly basis! The children's meals were also pitched exactly right. The staff were lovely- they were polite and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The onsen was clean and so relaxing- a great way to unwind every day. The room (we had Japanese style) was spacious, quiet and clean. It felt a bit special, with wonderful views.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean. The husband spoke very good English and explained everything well. He was also happy to have a good chat and was quite entertaining. The wife couldn't speak any English but was extremely kind and if you can speak some Japanese she was great to talk to as well. They also offered us some snacks and coffee which was nice. Overall a very fun experience and would recommend to anyone who doesn't mind staying in someone's home.
