Guruge is the kindest person. Except from having a beautiful home and garden, he is very sweet and helpful with everything. Me and my friend stayed here. We’re two girls and he made sure we didn’t have to walk anywhere in the dark in the evenings, offered to help with everything. He made us amazing home made food with food growing in his tree. He told us a lot of insights about Hikkaduwa too!

Accommodation was a really good value, as the room was bright, seemed new, had a beautiful private balcony and bathroom was really nice. Fan was working well and sockets were universal, good for travelers. Loation is like 10 minutes walk from the train station and the main road where all the caffees are, however, it is also very calm and peaceful location.

A nice and clean, basic room. Comes with a fan and a mosquito net. The bed was large. The room comes with a kettle. The host was nice. Provided us with a knife and a plate to have some fruit when we asked for it. The location is good.

It is a lovely hotel set amongst greenery. I was given the room as requested. It was nice to have many windows and to listen to birds singing in the morning. The hotel is well organised like apartments with the kitchen and dedicated boxes for guests to store their items on the shelves and in the refrigerators. There’s a big dining area. Otherwise, it’s a 5 minutes walk to the Beach Road with lots of eateries.
