Absolutely adored this place!! Really comfortable beds, stunning peaceful location, close to some excellent hikes and waterfalls and somehow the area remains off the beaten path. The family and host are absolutely lovely and the food, ohhh man the home cooked food was just so so so good!

KPL homes is located on the hill on the opposite of the Railway station, which makes it an ideal choice if you have to catch the morning train like we did. It is also a very quiet area, away from the hustle city of the city. The garden makes the place so relaxing and calm and you can also enjoy the view of the hills. The owner was very helpful and communicative! We definitely recommend the place!

Nice and cozy little place in Dickoya runned by a very nice family. 5 min walk to a beautiful tea plantation where you can walk for hours and enjoy the view. We rented a scooter from the owner and he recommend places to visit which was a perfect day driving around incredible nature and spectacular views. We ate all our meals in the homestay which I recommend, Sri Lankan kottu was amazing:) Also, they washed some laundry for us free of charge:)

Unique and charming stay in heritage accomodation located on a historic tea farm. There are only 3 rooms available to guests so we had the place to ourselves most of the time and dined privately. A lovely garden to sit and read in and take tea, also many options so sit inside the heritage building itself. Reuben and his staff were extremely kind and enthusiastic. The chef created amazing local dishes and we had lunch and dinner onsite which was inexpensive. The location is quite remote so we stayed there and took a tea tour on the farm which was very good and the guide was great. We were picked up from Hatton by a tuk tuk which was a 35min journey. The setting is really beautiful and the rooms large and carefully decorated.

We arrived late and our host was so accommodating and kind - he organised a dinner and then breakfast for us going out of his way to ensure we had food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The service even though we were just staying for one day. Great place

The host was super friendly and kind. We had an amazing stay at the KPL Holiday Home and would recommend it for everyone on there way to or back from the Adam’s Peak or in between the train ride. We could leave our big bag packs for the day we went to the Adam’s peak without charging.

Traveller’s Villa provides cosy accomodation for a reasonable price with welcoming and helpful owners. House is located in very quite location. There was possibility to have autentic and tasty Sri Lankan homemade food which was super tasty. Owner was always willing to help us and drive us wherever we needed. We felt really good at this place and would recommend it to enyone who likes peace and friendly atmosphere.

The place is very beautiful and clean. Theres a little holiday swing with a view and the bathroom has a proper shower with sliding doors! First one I've seen in Sri Lanka 😁 The owner Kiruba is very kind and gives you good advice. He makes sure, you're comfortable all the time. You even receive a free bottle of water, there's tea and coffee for free and free drinking water. The bed was also very comfortable. I can recommend his holiday home to everyone!
