A very nice and warm welcome by Damith (the host). Really enjoyed the fairytale house with comfortable bed and nice shower. I am in love with the plant in the bathroom. Everything is very well maintained, clean and furnished with an eye for detail. At night I felt safe because of the sweet dog that lay in front of my door. During the tasty breakfast, colorful birds and squirrels visited the beautiful garden. The spectacle of the chattering ducks was very amusing to watch. Recently there have also been bunnies jumping around in the garden, but unfortunately I had to miss them. The environment was so pleasant and relaxing that I secretly didn't want to go out. The fear that I might miss something was just a little stronger. The host arranged a bicycle for me and I cycled to Unawatuna (15 minutes) & Galle (30 minutes). There is also a nice beach just a 5-minute bike ride away.

An incredible experience and warm welcome at Turtle Beach Talpe. This beautiful family made us feel at home and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and top class. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Delani is the chef and her food is freshly home cooked as you order. Best Sri Lankan curry and egg hoppers, best food in Talpe. Setting is right on the beach with palm trees and the ocean at your feet. Chilled beers. We hired their scooters and they arranged transfers for us. We only stayed 3 days but felt like family when we left. Shashika made sure everthing was well maintained and lovely cool airconditioned rooms. Perfect location. Thank you we hope we can come back soon.

Absolutely incredible property with the most lovely staff! The staff helped us with anything we needed and were so kind to us and our baby. We stayed in a villa that was separate to the main house which was perfect for our little family. Oh and the food that the manager made was the best food we had in Sri Lanka! Have the chicken curry for dinner!

The property is well maintained and the hosts are amazing. Arguably my best stay in all of the travels I have done across the world. Never had any issues and even requests for a late lunch or early breakfast were accommodated for. The house staff is very polite, the rooms are well maintained and the pool is always kept clean and tidy. On request, customized dinner and/or lunch is also available.

The room is really big for 1 person. The family owns the property. Everyone is so friendly and I feel very comfortable. They even gave me wood apple juice. And made tea the next day in the morning but since I was rushing for the train back to Colombo I couldn't drink. Felt so bad. If you don't mind like me to listen to the train passes by go for it.
