Nice apartment with 3 bedrooms in a ex-fishing village, where tradition is combinate with modernity. The apartment, especially the living room, was cozy, with a really nice view on the fjord. The bedrooms have minimal furniture, but for us was ok. Equipped kitchen. The ex-rorbuer is situated on a beautiful location in Senja. A small village, great for hiking and walking (fishing) to the sea. We walked on Knuten Trail Head (views to Mefjord port and two small lakes at the foot on the mountains), Hike Fjordgard (beautiful views on Segla peak and fjords from Hesten peak) and Husfjellet Trekking (beautiful views on fjords from Husfjellet peak). Restaurant nice in location, make sure to reserve your place. Friendly staff. Parking free.

    Great view to the mountains across the fjord from the public area. Room had a restricted view of mountains. It is clean with comfortable beds and a good shower. This is an isolated village, don't expect a lot of services. It is quiet and peaceful. We had a delicious dinner at the affiliated restaurant 500m down the road.

    This apartment is situated somewhere at the end of world in the very quite village near the fjord. It is really roomy and comfortable. We had enough place for a family of five people, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. When being at Mefjordvaer we immediately felt the atmosphere of small and lovely village. Sebastian is a wonderful host that prepared a house to our late arrival and helped us to organize a nice boat safari.

    Superb hotel on a beautiful spot, Senja! Really nice hotel in a small fishing village, that conbine modernity with tradition. The room was cozy with a really nice view. The restaurant was amazing with local product. Stuff super nice.

    Everything, a fantastic place to spend a night en route from Lofoten to Tromsø. Amazing restaurant, loved the halibut. Small village with incredible views. Especially Knuten for the midnight sun.

    The resort is right on the fjord, and seems to own many villas both on the shore and immediately across the street, just inland of it. The staff were excellent and it was very well-organised. We were there during a big storm that made it impossible to take advantage of all the hiking and sea-based opportunities, but it was a cozy place to shelter! The main highlight was the restaurant, which was the best place we ate at in over a week in Norway.

    Beautiful location with stunning views all around. Very comfortable small apartment with everything I needed to be able to cook a meal. Free parking. Great short walk nearby up a small hill giving a wonderful view down on to the village and all the surrounding mountains. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the weekend but I was given plenty of notice long before arrival so was able to buy food at the supermarket a few kms away which you pass before reaching Mefjord Brygge.
