Room had a restricted view of mountains. It is clean with comfortable beds and a good shower. This is an isolated village, don't expect a lot of services. It is quiet and peaceful. It is really roomy and comfortable. We had enough place for a family of five people, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. When being at Mefjordvaer we immediately felt the atmosphere of small and lovely village. The staff were excellent and it was very well-organised. We were there during a big storm that made it impossible to take advantage of all the hiking and sea-based opportunities, but it was a cozy place to shelter! Very comfortable small apartment with everything I needed to be able to cook a meal. Free parking. Great short walk nearby up a small hill giving a wonderful view down on to the village and all the surrounding mountains. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the weekend but I was given plenty of notice long before arrival so was able to buy food at the supermarket a few kms away which you pass before reaching Mefjord Brygge.Guest review byJosephSolo traveller
