I stayed at Dinesh House the night before the start of my Vipassana course at the Dhamma Pokhara Vipassana Center in Leknath. I can highly recommend Dinesh House as the perfect place to prepare for Vipassana since it is so quiet, beautiful, tranquil and serene :) It would also be a wonderful place to re-enter reality after a 10-day Vipassana, for the same reasons! It couldn't be closer to the Vipassana Center; I was able to walk there the next morning from Dinesh House, it was only about a 10-minute walk away! First things first: the views from Dinesh House are absolutely gorgeous!!! You can see Begnas Lake, and on a clear day the Annapurna Mountain Range as well! I couldn't have asked for more beautiful views. Onto the hosting family: Dinesh and his lovely wife, Dipa. They were both SO kind to me during my stay. On my walk to Dinesh House, there was a bit of rain, so he came out to walk me there and brought me an umbrella to keep me dry! I was really happy with my room, the bathroom, and especially the meals: Dipa cooked me a delicious dal bhat dinner the night I arrived, plus a tasty omelette with chapati & coffee the next morning. I highly recommend Dinesh House to travelers looking for beautiful views, tasty food, and friendly company on site — thanks so much Dinesh & Dipa for providing such a wonderful experience!

The best stay we experienced in Nepal. Whole place is just magical. We felt so welcomed. You can see the circle of growing food, cooking and also eating :)) We ate the most delicious and fresh food which Chetana cooked. Govinda showed to us how is possible to create such colorful garden. Our talks about herbs and ayurveda was very inspiring. Little Siddhartha was lovely sparkle of our days. Our room was cosy and clean with view on garden. Thank you so much for everything. Best place to stay in Pokhara. I have been to this city several times and can confirm that the staff, the rooms, the wifi, the showers, just everything is wonderful. I had a business meeting that I need wifi for and he changed my rooms specifically to guarantee I had the best connection. The owner and his family are just lovely and the rooftop view is one of the best in all of Nepal. Will stay again and again.
