If you want to experience Nepali culture and local life look no further! Such a lovely family who takes you into their home in this little village up in the hills. We cooked together (always vegetarian btw), got a village tour, learned a lot about rural agriculture, tried on traditional Nepali dresses, hiked to a waterfall and swam in the river. Ama and Baba were so welcoming, and they showed us so much about village life in Nepal. We were invited to help with cooking and farmwork, so we learned alot. The location is perfect - you can either stay in and relish the beauty of ordinary, or pack your day bag and hike to nearby villages and dive into the lure of hilly terrain. The staffs are friends and I must say, I found a family in them. I loved Annapurna Eco Village for its simplicity and calmness.
