Really lovely host who made us feel so welcome. We loved sitting on our porch looking over the cherry orchard and countryside after a busy day sight seeing. The lodge is immaculately clean with good quality bedding and fluffy towels. Book it you won’t regret it. Thank you Fran for a great stay.

This was the most perfect homestay I experienced in New Zealand. The accommodation was impeccably tidy and exceptionally clean. The hostess was a fantastic host, offering many valuable suggestions for things to do and see in both the immediate area and beyond. Her breakfast included delicious homemade jam. Lots of things to like - very peaceful surroundings, the bed was very comfortable with beautiful bedding, lovely touches eg Alexa, elegant tea and coffee presentation box, offer of a bottle of milk on arrival. Lovely big shower room and drawer under sink for toiletries, nice big fridge, wardrobe, outdoor space, pretty gardens, communal barbecue, washing machine option, own parking space, very helpful greeting on arrival.
