This was a secret escape. A very peaceful serene location really helped myself and Husband wind down from a long flight from the UK and set up for the rest of our tour around New Zealand. The property is a 5 minute drive into Kerikeri with plenty of shops and restaurants however they do close early compared to UK standards. There is a brewery with high standard restaurant and a garden bar with delicious snacks open until late this is a 15- 20 minute walk through the woods take a torch for return journey especially if you have sampled one or two over the top. I can only say this is a lovely place to stay and unwind with a bottle of wine from the well stocked mini bar 🍸 Thank you to Carla, Christian & Biscuit for a memorable stay and lovely breakfast. Every thing was topnotch: A big room with a confy bed, the huge garden and last but not least a marvelous breakfast. The hosts were very kind and helpful, providing a list of restaurants, maps with informations about the surrounding and personal support about the airtraffic. There is really nothing to mention, what didn't work.

Close to a great restaurant, a Maori village recreation and lovely walks nearby. There is the old Stone House and a lovely cafe very close by. Kerikeri town is a short drive away.
