Loved the experience. Said certainly made the difference. He brings the personal touch to an otherwise quite fancy stay. He picked me up from the meeting point (15 omr) and took me for dune bashing for sunrise (25 omr). The dome itself is very luxurious (definitely something for couples), sparkling clean and comfy bed. The dinner (7 omr) was great and waaaay too much. The breakfast was also very tasty.

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent.

I loved how comfortable it was to be in the desert and just relax in the stillness. At the same time, there were also so many options to stay active like a camel ride to the Bedouin House for lunch or dune bashing or sand surfing. Staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort.

this camp was amazing, comfortable, in a great location with all the services and activities you might want to try in the desert. We admired the sunset in top of the dunes, had a great typical dinner watching at the stars, ride a camel and also did sand skating. We really felt at home. Would definetly recommend it to whoever wants to live a authentic desert experience.

I liked the location - right next to the dunes. It was easy to find and it was accessible by an ordinary car (no need for 4x4). The apartment nr. 4 was located on the first floor, it had 2 bedrooms (+2 bathrooms), a kitchen, a nice balcony and a covered terrace with seating. The view was beautiful. It was clean, quiet and we were very happy to stay here. Please not that there is no wifi, but I assume there is no signal/network in that area at all because our Omani SIM card also did not have mobile internet there. If you need internet, you need to climb up the dunes or go to the nearby town:-)

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

The food was unbelievably good, even prepared at our request. The staff were genuine, friendly and incredibly helpful. We got stuck in the sand and they rescued us! Could not recommend this camp enough for your stay in the desert.

Good location for both Wahiba sands and Wadis, very friendly staff. The sunset tour with Edrees was amazing, also the food is very good, both dinner and breakfast.

Authentic nomadic style tents in a secluded area next to a large dune. The location was perfect to watch the sunset and sunrise on the dune but also could you easily drive yourself back to the village near the desert! It was easy to get there as a meeting point at 3pm was arranged and then you could decide if you would like to go by your own car (totally recommend if you have a 4WD) or pay for a pick-up. The owner was super friendly and greeted us with tea/ coffee and snacks and shared some information about Omani traditions. We booked a camel ride for the morning (10 OMR per person) and were picked up (free dune bashing included) to go camel riding at a nearby camp - we loved it, was very much fun! Dinner and breakfast was good as well with many vegetarian options!

An excellent experience! The hospitality at the accommodation was warm and welcoming, and the food exceeded all expectations – truly delicious. A special thanks to the host’s son, who showed us around the city and the desert, giving us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture. We also had a memorable camel ride at a neighboring location. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommended!
