Berne's hostel is an excellent choice. It is not a hostel it is a resort. Stocked mini fridge, pool, quiet rooms, internet. Location is excellent as it is within walking distance of all the activities in Moalboal and only a scooter ride from the White Sand Beach. Would definitely stay again. 👍

Everything. It is cozy, colourful, comfortable and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and flexible. The room was clean, well thought through, and we had new sheets every day! Location is also great as it is walking distance to the only real beach in moalboal; white beach. You can rent a scooter at the guesthouse at a very good price. Most negatives of other people are really not a problem or it's due to their own fault. Within this price range it's a really good deal. Thanks Theo for the nice chatting and extra care when needed. Auf wiedersehen!

We chose the hotel quite last minute, and it turned out to be the best accommodation we had in the Philippines (after visiting Manila, Cebu, Bohol, and Moalboal). The hotel is not located directly by the sea, nor is it right on the main street among the bars, but that didn't matter at all. It's possible to rent scooters for €5/day, and they even provide secure parking. It's about a 15-minute walk to the bars. The staff was the best I have ever experienced on a holiday! They helped us with every little thing, whether it was arranging a boat trip, snorkeling, trying to find balut at 10 PM, advising us where to see cockfights, or even cutting up a durian... haha. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the garden and pool were excellent (I'm not saying you can't find a hotel with a better location or better rooms—but for the price, this was truly a top accommodation). There was also a bar and a restaurant on-site.

Jeru, the host and his son is an absolute dream. They are so kind and caring. They also provided us with snorkelling gear, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, water bag, etc for free. The room itself is as pictured and clean, AC works great and the room is well insulated, keeping it nice and chilly. Also nice hot shower and a beautiful garden. I also rented a motorbike with great condition and great prices.

Loved, loved our 5 nights at this hotel and meeting a very special host, Sister Teresa and her team. Sister Teresa cooked us a lovely breakfast every morning and it was delicious! It is evident how much effort and love Sister puts into creating this each morning. The location is magnificent, a short 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Although it is very close to the main action, the hotel location is in a very quiet area and we slept so comfortably and soundly. This is a beachfront location and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to snorkel the waters where you can such a variety of sea life. I've never seen so many starfish in one location. Sister Teresa also helped us with our transportation from Cebu airport and back, our scooter hire as well as our water activities. This is truly a magical place and well taken care of by Sister Teresa and her team. Thank you, you made our trip to Moalboal incredibly special and memorable and we highly recommend this hotel.

The beachfront was great! Villa was exceptional. We were surprised about it and we enjoyed every hour. We actually booked the villa just to spend a day and recharge due to our hectic work sched. Sister Therese was the best! She made us feel so welcome and at home. The breakfast honestly we were not expecting to be this great! The food was top rated. Thank you Sisters! We will definitely go back!!

We felt home away from home in Moalboal at Villa Teresa. Marichu and Guiseppe were lovely hosts and helped with everything they could. The apartment was spotless clean, perfectly equipped with everything necessary and very well maintained. There’s a great vibe at this place, highly recommended!!!

Perfect stay in villa by the sea, run by wonderful Sisters who donate proceeds to their orphanage in Cebu City. Lovely rooms, delicious varied breakfasts, arranging of tours and massages/pedicure/manicure appts at the villa. We will return. Simply the best place we stayed in the Philippines. And 10m walk to local strip and beach where you can swim with turtles and sardine shoals.
