Very comfortable place. Muhammad works with the local government. He was helpful in advice and making arrangements for taxis with fair prices. The rooms were huge with Netflix. His mother and children were very sweet, delivering breakfast when you wanted it etc. The place is close to the sites, cable car and Hisham palace etc. I had a lovely visit to the dead sea and muh. arranged for sharing the taxi costs with another tourist. Jericho is very interesting with so much history and amazing desert scenery around the area. I wish I could have stayed 1 or 2 days longer, experienced more.

Samis hostel is in the most perfect and central location in a very well known Palestinian neighbourhood called Aqbat Jabr. There is a warm and friendly Palestinian community outside the hostel with shops and a restaurant. Buses run frequently from outside the hostel to the city centre of Jericho. Sami is a friendly host and the hostel offers a comfortable lounge area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable with air con. Very clean! You feel home immediately. Also the hosts were super hospitable , as we arrived too early, they welcomed us in their home to wait comfortably inside. Great location as its a 10 minute walk from the city centre, all stores, ATMs and the Taxi/Fords Pick-up location to go anywhere.
