The concept and execution of this guesthouse is excellent. The rooms and bathroom are clean, comfortable, and well-kept, offering full privacy, while the shared kitchen and terrace are spacious and thoughtfully designed – perfect both for relaxing on your own or, if you feel like it, interacting with neighbors. Everything is tastefully decorated and modern, and the kitchen truly feels like home. A lovely touch – fresh eggs and fruits. The town of Urzelina itself is beautifully maintained, with a scenic and well-developed cycling and walking path along the coast that stretches almost all the way to Velas Airport. Overall, we really enjoyed São Jorge Island and will definitely return.

An absolutely amazing stay! The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Pico Mountain. It’s conveniently close to small grocery shops and charming restaurants, making everything easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. Beautiful view and tasteful interior, wonderful hosts so helpful with anything you may need. Genuinely lovely space to stay in, much bigger than I even realised on the pictures. Perfect location for stunning sunsets. It was all so well kept and maintained, everything was exactly as you’d want, and more. Would definitely come back.
