Meeting our hosts and their warm hospitality was a great privilege. They have invested much in this property and a real highlight for us us was to enjoy dinner with them, the table d'hote. We can't speak french but this turned out to be a very enjoyable evening for all of us - both using google translate. We learnt much from Reunion also. The weather was kind to us and we could hike to La Chapelle the next morning. It is in a quite part of Cilaos with of course the Piton des Neiges towering above the town

We had a great time at Villa Soalic. Many thanks to Carole and Veronique who are the best hosts you can ask for and went above and beyond for us and other guests. Really first class service.     Felt very welcomed and like home. Carol was such a kind and attentive host, always in a good mood and ready to help with any questions. Clean and beautiful apartment, very nice house and atmosphere and a beautiful garden. Lovely and fresh breakfast with many options to choose from. My friend and I really much enjoyed our stay at La Villa Soalic and can only recommend this place to stay in Cilaos.

    Jannik and his wife were very welcoming and super attentive hosts. The served breakfast consisting of home made pancakes, fruit and home made jams was really good. The villa is conveniently located in Cilaos and close to all the amenities the town has to offer and major trek trails. A stunning panoramic view can be enjoyed from the terrace.
