So unique and beautiful. The village of Wutai is outstandingly beautiful, this house is right next to the village square. The owner was very welcoming, polite, and kindly shared her Rukai culture with me. It was beautiful to watch the swallows in the afternoon and the mountain sunrise in the morning. It was a joy and an honour to stay here.

Very nice house, old Taiwanese courtyard with superbly renovated and decorated apartments. Beautiful garden and music room. Domingo is a very nice and caring host! Car recommended although we managed to get around using the bikes provided by the host. The rooms are not cheap but we think they are worth it! We would come back an another occasion.

Very clean and cosy B&B (or minsu 民宿, as they call it in Taiwan). I had a single room which is quite small but exactly suitable for one person. All of the amenities were brand new. For same price in Taipei one could expect a run down place with a sparkle of creepiness, but this B&B was exeptionally good. Location is also great, just 400 meters away from the Meinong Bus station and downtown area. Free bicycles provided for customers is also amazing, since Meinong is extremely walking unfriendly. getting around on a bicycle or scooter is a must.

Staying at Meinong was like a health spa. It was quiet at night and provided a peaceful comfortable nights rest. We chose a room with a deep hot spring like bath that comfortably fitted two Australian adults and eased our tired muscles after sightseeing in the mountains. Breakfast included the freshest fruit and vegetables from the surrounding farms. We ate many things for breakfast we had never seen or tried before our trip to Taiwan. The owners were exceptionally thoughtful, which enhanced our stay in this little farming community by providing good recommendations on nearby restaurants and places to visit. At the end of our 4 night stay we felt our health had significantly improved.

Friendly and helpful owner. Immaculate private "pod" style room situated in the wooded garden. Little terrace outside shared with one other pod and another rooftop terrace with view over the village. Everything in the pod seemed brand new and spotlessly clean. Best shower I've experienced in Taiwan, hot and powerful. Very comfy bed, smart TV with Netflix on the remote although I didn't test it. Plenty of plug sockets, silent and efficienct AC kept the room nice and cool. Owner very friendly and lots of nice little touches including an electric racket for any mosquitoes that got in (didn't need to use it). Woke up to birdsong. Lovely little place, only wish I had been staying longer. Best value for money of anywhere I've stayed in Taiwan during my 13 years here.
