The staff was incredibly welcoming, Buutu nest really felt like home for the few weeks I was there! The b&b was super clean. The breakfast was amazing!! They have a beautiful garden. The bed was really comfortable as well!

We had an incredible stay. The place exceeded our expectations in every way. Immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. This should rather be named, "Gem on the Nile" - a stunning location, with spacious suites overlooking the river, with a really great dining area/bar! The owner, David, could not have been more welcoming, and a high standard of hospitality was also offered by all of the staff, every one gracious and friendly. The food was of an equally high standard: we ordered fish (tilapia) and it was cooked to perfection. Home on the Nile defines Value for Money - it offers a lot, for much less than many of the other accommodations that we stayed at during our Ugandan travels, whilst offering a similar high standard.

Very cool place to stay. Lots of land, room for off street packing behind the gates. Security guards were really friendly. Large outdoor eating area with BBQs. 3 bedroom house with plenty of room for us all. 2 bathrooms. Small kitchen but with a lovely big fridge, filtered water system, toaster, cook top. Mosquito nets on all the beds. Washing machine was a bonus if needed. They have a drinks fridge outside that you pay for with an honesty system. All rooms have locked doors.
