This is a true gem. We have never met hosts like these ones. The couple, Pamela and Carlos, are not only nice and friendly and accommodating, but they seriously try to do whatever it takes to make your Rapa Nui experience unforgettable. They offer an airport transfer and a delicious breakfast at no additional cost, even though these are not included in the booking.com offer. They recommend tour agencies, restaurants and other points of interest that are super reliable. They go as far as taking you to some places if you cannot afford other means of visiting. Don't overuse their kindness! As for the Hostal: the room is quite spacious, the bed is very comfortable, all spaces are spotless clean, especially the bathroom. The room is decorated with much taste. You can use the amazingly beautiful outside terraces with lots of flowers to relax. There is a common kitchen shared by all rooms, which is superbly equipped with everything necessary, even for cooking yourself, which you won't do, because the food offered in the restaurants is delicious. Even though there is no air con, the temperature in the room is pleasant with windows open. There are some chickens in the backyard and a lovely cat, that adores snacks. Overall the quality that you receive for the money paid is unbelievable, so look no further and book now!

Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. the room was spotlessly clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable and the side lamps made it cosy in the evening. I loved having my own kitchen space and fridge and the private balcony was ideal for eating meals. the location is so peaceful, lots of birdsong in the morning (which is way more restful than the cockerals). its about a 30 minute walk from town but the walk is beautiful along the coast and pass the sunset moais (10 minute stroll or 5 mins to the solitary moai at the end of the road which you'll have all to yourself at sunset). other hotels in this price bracket are also a 30/40 minute walk but along streets so this location is a winner for me. the host (no english) but so friendly and helpful, always kept free drinking water, napkins and toilet paper stocked up. he even took me on a tour of his veg garden and introduced me to the mini melon. the place is peaceful, host friendly and accommodating, pickup to/from the airort included. I loved my stay here.

Lovely B&B near the centre of Hanga Roa. Very responsive staff who also pick you up from and drive you back to the airport for free. Laundry was also washed gratis, a rarity in any location without a dedicated washing machine. A good breakfast was included in the price, which was not stated in the original booking. You can also book the two tours offered on the island from the hotel. Extremely highly recommended.

Bathrooms can be private or shared at some rooms, while tents have only shared bathroom access. Location is amazing, walkable distance to the main street and to the coast. We booked a room for two people with shared bathroom and we have no complaints at all. The place has a common kitchen and we could save some money making our own meal some days. The best part for us was Benjamin hospitality. He arranged all the tours, gave several tips and also took us to some alternativa attractions. Coming back to the island I would definetely stay there again.
