You couldn’t wish for better hosts and room/ garden / kitchen facilities / location and maybe I was lucky but all the other guests ( maximum of 12 ,at a time ) were amazing people . My 10 days were making great new friends , very kind and genuine people seem to gravitate to this beautiful hotel . You will see monkeys in the trees and wake to their howls & the bird life and that’s it , no road noise , leisurely coffee and breakfast then onto your day :) Absolutely faultless , highly highly recommend . Very nice welcome by a German couple. Hard to get there especially during rainy season but definitely worth it.

A well equipped gorgeous cabin surrounded by a beautiful garden with a pool and laundry. Xavi was very helpful and showed our children the local monkeys. We loved everything about our stay at La Caravana! The location couldn't be more perfect -- right across from Playa Carrillo -- and Kris and Guillermo are the MOST fabulous hosts. They have created a chic and comfortable oasis in one of the most beautiful parts of Costa Rica. They have thought of every details and go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is wonderful. Think of this as "glamping" with lots of extra bells and whistles and creature comforts. Can't recommend highly enough!
