First of all, I got a private room with keys, clean sheets and a towel, which I didn’t expect because, as a hostel, I was sure I would be sharing a room with others. The rooftop is super chill, with a stunning view of the pyramids – perfect for a quiet morning coffee. The kitchen was fully equipped, so you could even cook there. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the water was hot and flowed consistently, which isn’t always the case in hostels, based on my experience. Secondly, breakfast was included, and after one portion, I was full enough that I didn’t need to buy anything for lunch. Lastly, the owner who managed the hostel was so lovely, kind, and helpful. He spoke good English, which made it easy to connect with him, get some advices and have conversations on various topics.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The owner Dr Hossam. Is the kindest man we have encountered while in Egypt. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable staying at this apartment in New Cairo. He sent his driver to pick us up from the airport, dropped us back to the airport after the stay. All free of charge. Also, due to our flight arriving early in the morning at 7am and our room not being available until 3pm. He offered us another apartment free of charge for us to go and stay in until our booked apartment was ready. The level of hospitality of this man is amazing. And his staff really respect him by doing an incredible job by the way they treat and serve you. Mr Usama, Mahmoud and Ahmed. They were all very great to us. And we will definitely stay here again next time we are in Cairo. Thank you very much!

An amazing breakfast on the roof terrasse with a wonderfull view over the pyramid is an experience itself. It cannot be any closer. (the official entrance is however on the other side of the area, it might be too far to walk there). Everything was perfect. I also liked the customer oriented attitude of Kareem and his brother who run this hotel -very nice, polite, not pushy and always available to answer questions and help their guests.
