We planned to stay 1 night and extended to 3 (would’ve been 4 but it was fully booked). One night in another homestay made it clear that Levan and the family have a spectacular setup. Their home has everything you need (clean, comfy rooms, hot water, all the standard things in order), but something else is special. Extravagant breakfast (even pancakes!) and dinners cooked by the mother and sister, and served on the porch every morning with the ever-stunning views of the mountains. Most evenings Levan starts a bonfire and guests gather for a cozy night under the starry sky! Here Levan is subjected to all types of questions, and has as a result become known as the Google of Tusheti. Do ask him to tell how he met and befriended a local mountain bear! 🐻 We were, unfortunately, not there long enough to meet it!

The location is unbelievably stunning, situated in a quiet vineyard with snow capped mountain views. The hosts were extremely hospitable, often going out of their way to answer our questions and check on how our stay was going. We also did a tour of their wine making process which was amazing value for money. The rooms themselves were really quaint with awesome balcony views, really modern finishings and very high pressured showers. The whole set up was perfect, with the hosts' animals often visiting us and keeping us company as well (big bonus). Lastly, the breakfast and dinner was stellar. Over our weeks stay in Georgia this was hands down one of the best locations we visited and would love to come again in the future.

It's a nice cozy family place. They have a small cellar and the wine is outstanding. They also cooked dinner for us which was one of the best meals we had in Georgia. I had an unforgettable stay at this stunning 200-year-old historical guesthouse. Everything about it was perfect – from the beautiful, atmospheric setting to the charm of the property itself. The location is ideal, nestled in a quiet, picturesque corner of Telavi, just a 10-minute walk from the fortress and the market. The highlight of our visit, however, was the warm welcome from the cutest dog in Telavi and the incredibly kind and generous host. She took the time to sit and chat with us, sharing delicious food and local wine. It’s moments like these that made our experience so special – words can't fully express our gratitude and satisfaction. This stay was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip, and I can’t wait to return!
